HEART TO HEART

Aho. Once there was a small rabbit who ran from place to place to find a perfect home. He was so very fast that all of the other animals took turns guessing how fast he was actually running. "Faster than the lightning in the sky," said the bear as he lumbered on his way. "Faster than the speeding arrow," said the buck as he leapt through the woods. Finally, one day, a small frog jumped in the rabbit's path. "Why are you running so fast?" the frog croaked. "What's the hurry?" The rabbit tried to catch his breath, as he replied, "I must find my home, my holy place." At that, the frog began to ribbit loudly, hopping along, telling all the other animals. "He is looking for his home, his holy place." And all the animals laughed merrily. The rabbit heard them laughing, and his ears flopped because he thought he was nothing but a joke. Blinking back his tears, he saw a wolf approaching, but he was tired of running. "Why are you crying, Brother Rabbit?" the wolf asked. "Because they are all making fun of me," the rabbit replied. "No," said the wolf tenderly, "it is just that we thought you already knew." "Knew what?" the rabbit asked. "Brother Rabbit, someone should have told you, so we all apologize. We are responsible, because we knew but did nothing." The rabbit listened intently, both ears now standing tall. The wolf spoke. "You will only find your holy place, your true home, when you decide to sit still."
